Poetic Oceanside Engagement Session
A love as strong as live oaks.
A love as consistent as the tides.
A love that weathers any storm.
A love as raw as driftwood.
A love as shielding as an oyster.
A love that instills peace.
That is the love I have chosen with you.
From Elizabeth, “Edisto is special because we have both gone on vacation there with our families for years. I first went to Botany Bay with his family, the first summer we were dating. I thought it was the most beautiful beach with all of the shells and live oaks. Symbolically, I love how the trees and the shells have stood the test of time to make the beach even more beautiful. Hopefully we will be able to say that about our love story and marriage in 60 years!”
From Thomas, “I think Botany Bay really symbolizes nature in a very raw, undisturbed state and beauty. It surrounds its visitors with a sense of freedom and peace seldom found in other places and provided the perfect back-drop for our pictures.”
With a love story formed by the water, it is no surprise that Elizabeth and Thomas chose a location by the ocean. It’s by the ocean where they share some of their first memories as a couple and it’s by the ocean they decided to start their lives together.
