A Union of Creativity and Rustic Charm
It is such a pleasure to be sharing Allie Grace Runnion and David Jachimiak's curated Anthropologie-inspired and al fresco New England wedding for your review! The combination of love, intention, and sentiment incorporated into this bespoke and gorgeous wedding day was magical in so many ways, and I knew that I needed to share it with the Cottage Hill team.
August Love in Winchester, Massachusetts
Allie Grace Runnion and David Jachimiak were married in the colonial town of Winchester, Massachusetts on the 29th of August, 2015. Both being incredibly talented creatives — Allie, the owner of a graphic design and pattern design company, and David, a multi-instrumentalist musician and University of Miami of Music graduate. When Allie and Dave approached me to plan their wedding, their vision was clear: a boho chic taste, a unique color palette, meaningful elements that epitomized their relationship, and a touch of rustic flair to create an al fresco celebration filled with love, meaning, and sentiment.
Ethereal Setting at Wright-Locke Farm
The setting for Allie and David's ethereal celebration was Wright-Locke Farm, a fully functioning working farm with acres of rolling hills, a white-washed barn, and an outdoor corral, surrounded by lush grass and wildflowers. The color palette featured shades of marigold, foraged green, ivory, and gold, setting the stage for a wedding that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the farm.
Anthropologie-Inspired Bride and Bridesmaids
All of the bride's attire and accessories were from BHLDN and Anthropologie, which played perfectly into the theme and feeling of the wedding. Allie's bridal bouquet was organic and flowy, comprised of various greens, exotic white blooms, and wildflowers. The bridesmaids wore perfectly matched marigold chiffon gowns and carried bouquets tied with French velvet ribbons. The bridal party got ready at the Inn at Hastings Park, a very fashion forward, modern boho chic boutique hotel in the heart of Lexington, MA.
"Golden Hour" Ceremony and a Festive Reception
Allie and Dave's "golden hour" ceremony took place at Wright Locke Farm on a hill overlooking the acres of land and barn on the property. After an emotional ceremony, guests were invited to dine and enjoy cocktails in front of the white-washed barn, while the bridal party took photos amongst the fields and farm. The Corral's ambient outdoor dining area was surrounded by tall grasses and bistro lights, where tablescapes incorporated an assortment of bottles filled with various species of greens, gold rimmed china, crystal stemware, gold flatware, place cards, marigold linen napkins, and old-fashioned caramels as favors. Allie and Dave enjoyed a champagne toast and dinner with their family and then moved into the gorgeous barn dripping with Edison bulbs for toasts, dancing, dessert, and a couple of entertaining surprises for their guests!
